Mt. Cook - Ski the Tasman
Take our 45 minute airplane flight from Queenstown to Mt. Cook Aerodrome along the majestic Southern Alps. From there, gear up and board a skiplane or helicopter to land at the head of the Tasman Glacier: the longest glacier in New Zealand! The views will take your breath away as you ski amongst massive ice formations down the 8-10km runs. Spend six hours exploring the glacier during two runs from different landing sites, with a generous picnic lunch included. After getting back to Mt. Cook Aerodrome via helicopter or skiplane, we'll load up and fly back to Queenstown, in time for a refreshing apres ski!
The day is professionally guided by Alpine Guides (Aoraki), Mt Cooks original guiding company, with over 50 years of experience guiding in the region. For more information about the experience: https://skithetasman.co.nz/
